Voting begins in Scottish Conservative Leadership Election

The voting period for the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party Leadership election has begun with ballot papers posted to qualifying members in early September.

In order to qualify to vote, you a required to have been a member of the Party on 27th June 2024.

You can return your ballot paper via post or you can vote online – details on how to return your vote are included with your ballot paper.

If you have not received your ballot paper please email registration@scottishconservatives.com and we can investigate this for you.

Please note that deadline for replacement ballot papers to be issued is 4pm on 23rd September 2024. Any requests after that time will not be able to be accomodated.

At this election you vote by preference, giving your first preference vote to the candidate you wish to be elected and so on.

You may give as many or as few preferences as you wish.

The three candidates going forward to the ballot are:

•    Russell Findlay MSP

•    Murdo Fraser MSP

•    Meghan Gallacher MSP

The ballot closes at 12 noon on Thursday 26th September and the result will be announced on Friday 27th September.
