On Saturday, Her Majesty The Queen officially opened the new term of the Scottish Parliament.
Scottish Conservative Leader Douglas Ross said he was “deeply honoured” to meet Her Majesty and members of the Royal Family.
Speaking during the ceremony at Holyrood, The Queen said: “It is often said that it is the people that make a place.
“And there are few places where this is truer than in Scotland.”
