SNP Health Secretary Michael Matheson ran up an extraordinary £11,000 worth of data roaming charges while on holiday in Morocco last Christmas.
He insisted it was a legitimate expense and tried to make Scottish taxpayers pick up the tab.
He claims that until a few weeks ago, he didn’t know that the data was actually used by his family members to stream football matches.
But even according to his own timeline of events, the Health Secretary lied to interviewers, saying that there had been no personal use after we know he had found out otherwise.
He has refused to resign and Humza Yousaf won’t sack him.
Michael Matheson has repeatedly lied to the press and public. He is not fit to hold one of the most senior positions in the Scottish Government.
Michael Matheson lied to the public – yet Humza Yousaf continues to back him.
