Rural Scotland plays a vital role in our economy, food security, culture and heritage. It is home to our farmers, fishermen and rural businesses who work hard to manage and protect Scotland’s landscape.

Yet despite its importance, rural Scotland has been neglected for years, with policies that have made life harder for rural and coastal communities.

We believe rural Scotland needs a different approach. Its needs must be at the heart of every decision, from the economy and healthcare to housing and infrastructure.

Our plan will support, improve and protect rural Scotland, ensuring our rural and coastal communities have a government that is on their side.
