Jamie McGrigor, 58, has been as a regional MSP for the Highlands & Islands since 1999 and is currently Shadow Minister for Communities & Sport and the Scottish Conservative member on the Parliament's Standards Committee. Jamie lives in Argyll and is married with six children.
He has a wide experience of countryside issues having farmed sheep and cattle for over 30 years and he also pioneered a trout farm in Argyll. He has also worked in the financial and shipping sectors. He is also Chairman of the Loch Awe Improvement Association.
