TNS poll shows Scottish Conservatives will be pivotal again

A poll from TNS using new methodology has shown the Scottish Conservatives will again be pivotal in the next parliament.

David McLetchie, Scottish Conservative Campaign Manager, said:

"Given that results from this pollster have consistently and considerably underestimated Conservative support in Scotland, these results are pleasing. This poll demonstrates how once again we will be pivotal in the next parliament, just as we were pivotal in this one.

"We note TNS have adopted new methodology but regardless of the figures we will spend the next 38 days taking our message of common sense and delivery to the voters of Scotland."
