STUC out of touch on Small Business Bonus

The assistant secretary of the STUC has told the Scottish Parliament's economy committee that the Small Business Bonus Scheme was 'money wasted'.

Scottish Conservative Enterprise Spokesman Gavin Brown MSP said:

"Scottish Conservatives were proud to have accelerated the Small Business Bonus as a means of helping those companies who are the drivers of growth within our economy.

"The STUC are simply wrong on this issue. Tens of thousands of businesses have benefited since the Small Business Bonus was introduced.

"The Small Business Bonus Scheme was a shot in the arm for our economy at just the right time and Scottish Conservatives will fight to protect it."
