The Chancellor, George Osborne, has given his Autumn Statement this afternoon in the House of Commons.
Scottish Conservative MP and Scotland Office Minister, David Mundell said:
"The UK Government's credible plan to clear up Labour's mess and to let Britain live within its means has ensured we are a safe haven in the global debt storm. But the SNP and Labour would risk this with billions and billions of more spending, more borrowing and more debt which would put us in the danger zone with Italy and Spain.
"With the global debt crisis getting worse every day, the Government's plan to deal with our debts is even more important than ever, and the SNP and Labour's plan to borrow our way out of the debt crisis is a recipe for economic disaster."
