Small Business Bonus is the right policy at the right time

The Scottish Trade Union Congress (STUC) has called for the Small Business Bonus to be abolished in a report published today.

Scottish Conservative Finance Spokesman, Gavin Brown MSP said:

"Scottish Conservative votes helped secure the Small Business Bonus and we still firmly believe that it is a great initiative. When the small companies who are the drivers of our economy were in need of help this was the right policy at the right time and this remains the case.

"This policy has been a shot in the arm for our economy and it has benefitted thousands of these businesses. The STUC are completely wrong on this issue and Scottish Conservatives will continue to fight for the Small Business Bonus to remain."
