Scottish Conservatives produce audio manifesto

Scottish Conservatives are putting audio versions of our manifesto "Common Sense for Scotland" on our website so partially sighted and visually impaired people can access them.

The audio is split into six separate parts:

Annabel Goldie – Common Sense for Scotland (read by Annabel Goldie)

Common Sense for our NHS (read by Murdo Fraser)

Common Sense on Education (read by Liz Smith)

Common Sense for our Economy (read by Derek Brownlee)

Common Sense for Communities (read by Derek Brownlee)

Common Sense on Justice (read by John Lamont)

David McLetchie, Scottish Conservative Campaign Manager for the 2011 Scottish Parliament election, said:

"We are proud of our record of delivery over the past four years and our common sense approach, which is going down well on doorsteps the length and breadth of Scotland.

"We are equally proud of our manifesto, Common Sense for Scotland, and we want anyone who wants to find out more to have that chance. Many people in Scotland cannot read a print manifesto because they are blind or partially sighted.

"Therefore senior Scottish Conservatives have been reading extracts of the manifesto which relates to their brief. They have been recorded and will be put on our website and on Youtube for anyone to listen to at their convenience.

"More Scottish Conservative MSPs means more common sense and delivery in the Scottish Parliament, so we are determined the message should go out as far and wide as possible."
