A YouGov poll today shows the Scottish Conservatives on course to make gains at the Holyrood elections.
Leader Annabel Goldie says:
"This poll backs up a raft of YouGov polls over the last few weeks and demonstrates that the Scottish Conservatives are gaining ground.
"Westminster polling has us in a strong and clear second place as voters realise that we are the only Party prepared to face up to the tough choices needed to deal with the dire legacy of debt left by Labour. We are preparing a radical manifesto for May's elections which will build upon the successes of the last 3 years.
"Alex Salmond and the SNP have been found out. Their few bright spots have only happened because of Conservative pressure. Their failures and broken pledges have been many and spectacular. Holyrood is a Parliament of minority parties and the voters can use their ballot paper to vote for what they believe in. They will have a clear choice. An SNP obsessed with independence at the expense of the economy. A Labour Party in denial about it's culpability and silent on solutions. Or a Scottish Conservative Party prepared to stand up and speak out for Scotland."
Ruth: "Our thoughts should now be with the families of the victims who died on that fateful day in December 1988."

Ruth: "However, this should not stop the questions that still exist, including those regarding his release by the SNP Government."
