Scottish Labour today launched its Business Manifesto.
Derek Brownlee, Scottish Conservative Finance Spokesperson, said:
"The party which created the longest and deepest recession since the war is finally asking how we can grow Scotland's economy.
"Scottish Labour opposed business rate cuts for small business in the last Parliament having made Scottish businesses pay higher rates than in England when Iain Gray was a Minister. Labour voted against the help Conservatives delivered for our exporting and housing industries.
"Labour is u-turning by the day and none of their sums add up. Whatever they claim before the election, only one thing is certain – Labour's plans will mean higher taxes for Scottish families and businesses."
Ruth: "Our thoughts should now be with the families of the victims who died on that fateful day in December 1988."

Ruth: "However, this should not stop the questions that still exist, including those regarding his release by the SNP Government."
