Energy Efficiency Plan announcement – SNP has been dragged to this day
The First Minister has unveiled Scotland's first national target to improve energy efficiency - after more than three years in government.
Gavin Brown MSP, Shadow Minister for Energy, said:
"Energy Efficiency plays a critical role in our efforts to reduce carbon emissions. It is therefore shameful that it has taken the SNP over three years to actually publish this plan.
"The SNP Government has had to be dragged along at every stage to make progress on this issue."
Ruth: "Our thoughts should now be with the families of the victims who died on that fateful day in December 1988."
