Delivering for Scotland

On Monday, the Scottish Conservatives will set out their stall for the Holyrood Election. The campaign will be underpinned by an outstanding record of Delivering for Scotland over the last 4 years.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Scottish Conservative leader, Annabel Goldie said:

“Over the last 4 years, the Scottish Conservatives have delivered a package of measures for Scotland. “We have used our pivotal position at Holyrood to deliver over £2billion worth of improvements to the Scottish Budgets, putting Scottish Conservative policies and principles into action.

“Holyrood is a Parliament of minority parties, with a minority government. “That has meant our votes have been crucial in deciding what goes through – and what doesn’t.

“On the 5th May, voters can judge each party on their record. “In the history of devolution, no opposition party has ever delivered so much for Scotland.

“Scottish Conservative policies, Scottish Conservative principals and Scottish Conservatives votes have Delivered for Scotland:

1,000 extra police

A 4 year Council Tax freeze

Help by way of local tax cuts for tens of thousand small businesses

A multi million pound town centre regeneration fund A new national drugs strategy

A massive boost to construction, house building and exporting creating over 10,000 new jobs

And much, much more.

“I am proud of what 16 Conservative MSPs have achieved over the last 4 years. Just think what we could do with even more."
