Scottish Labour's poster unveiling today shows they are so rattled by Iain Gray's poor performance during the campaign that they are going completely negative.
David McLetchie, Scottish Conservative Campaign Manager, said:
"Labour are fighting the wrong election for the wrong parliament. They are so rattled by how badly Iain Gray has been doing that their only answer is to go negative.
"If Labour had a record of delivery like the Scottish Conservatives at Holyrood over the past four years they would focus on that. Because they have nothing to say, they are resorting to carping from the sidelines, when everyone knows it is because of Labour 's debt legacy these tough choices have to be made. Quite literally, Labour are unbelievable.
"With Annabel Goldie's common sense approach, Scottish Conservatives are fighting a positive campaign. We are telling it like it is – realistic about today but optimistic about tomorrow.
"By contrast, Labour's campaign is now in chaos. They are not realistic, they are not optimistic, they are just relentlessly negative."
