Scottish Conservatives are out and about across the country today talking about how measures in yesterday's budget are benefiting Scotland.
Annabel Goldie, Scottish Conservative Leader, said:
"In these difficult economic times the UK Government set out measures to boost jobs, the economy and household budgets.
"Labour's planned fuel duty increase has now been cancelled – the cut in fuel duty will help families struggling with record prices. Increasing the personal tax allowance will take more low-paid Scots out of taxation altogether. Scottish companies will benefit from the reduction in Corporation Tax.
"It is proof that Conservatives are delivering for Scotland and that is the message going out loud and clear today."
Statistics released today have shown that youth unemployment is 2.5% higher in Scotland than the rest of the UK: http://t.co/j5YYyZHz #sp4
