Draft separation bill introduced AGAIN: Top priority to standard distraction tool in the blink of an eye

Alex Salmond has introduced his separation bill in draft form - again.

Annabel Goldie MSP, Scottish Conservative Leader, says:

"It is time for Alex Salmond to put up or shut up. If this is such a flagship policy for the SNP then why on earth doesn't Alex Salmond just introduce it to Parliament? Instead we get this persistent publicity campaign which just goes over and over the same old ground.

"It has gone from top priority to standard distraction tool in the blink of an eye. When his administration is failing he diverts attention away by announcing some new wheeze on independence.

"He should ditch this bill, stop wasting taxpayers' time and money and get on with what he was elected to do - namely helping the country deal with the legacy of Labour's debt crisis."
