Oppose the Named Person Scheme

Scrap Named Persons
The UK Supreme Court has ruled that the Named Persons scheme is unlawful as it breaches rights to privacy and family life. The SNP say they’ll press ahead regardless.
We, the undersigned, are opposed to the Named Person scheme, are concerned about the level of intrusion into family life, the scope for sharing confidential information without parental consent and the certainty of diverting resources away from the most vulnerable children.
We call on the SNP to heed the Supreme Court ruling and scrap the scheme altogether.
