The Scottish Conservatives are recruiting a Press Officer to work alongside the Party’s media team based in Edinburgh.
This is an opportunity to be involved in one of the most exciting times in Scottish politics in the run-up to September’s referendum vote.
You must be able to write concise copy to regular deadlines on a daily basis.
You will have responsibilities for building strong links with local newspapers, radio, trade publications, while also assisting the Party’s media in dealing with TV and the national press.
You will also be responsible for promoting the Party’s messages through social media and supporting MSPs with media duties.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to move on from local newspapers or broadcasting, or those looking to take their first steps in PR.
