Regional Campaign Manager
Building on the electoral success of Ruth Davidson MSP and the Scottish Conservative & Unionist Party at last May’s elections, we are recruiting three Regional Campaign Managers to be based in the North East, West and East of Scotland:
•Monthly meetings with association campaign teams to ensure campaigning is taking place on the ground – delivery of leaflets, canvassing, telecanvassing.
•To campaign for Conservative votes in non-target areas where the 2nd vote in Scottish Parliamentary and Local Government elections are needed.
•To provide a campaign base for every election across the region (Scottish Parliament, European, Westminster and Local Government).
•To oversee the selection of a full slate of Local Government candidates in every seat.
•To work closely with MSPs and elected representatives of all levels.
•To ensure the production of regular direct mail over the region.
•To produce a monthly report to the Scottish Field Director on all campaign activity, broken down by constituency and to keep in constant contact with other SCCO staff.
•To organise action days and mutual aid for target seats.
•To provide a focus for associations for their campaign activity within and outwith election periods.
•The campaign manager is directly responsible to the Scottish Field Director
•To develop the relations with ALL associations through regular contact by telephone, email and regular visits to association offices and to report any operational/personnel difficulties immediately to the Scottish Field Director.
•To attend association meetings on a regular basis, and to ensure that they are familiarised to all key personnel and activists in their area.
