Hello there, and a very warm welcome to Heriot-Watt University (HWU) Conservative Future.

Small but perfectly formed, the HWU branch was established in 2005, and aims to bring like-minded students together for social and political events. This year over 40 students signed up to the society! We enjoy close links with the city’s other university branches through CF Edinburgh, and participate in a packed programme of joint events each term.
Last year’s highlights included Party Conference, lunch with Boris Johnson and the General Election campaign. It’s not all politics, though, and whether you’re into paintballing or whisky tasting, trips to the theatre or techno nights at The Venue; we’ll probably be doing something you’d enjoy. During term-time, the branch meets for drinks every second Thursday, 8pm, at Dragonfly.
The emphasis is on fun, so if you’re a student at Heriot-Watt and you share our Conservative beliefs, why not join us? For further details, drop me a line.

Chairman, HWU.
