Summer 2007

During the recent Scottish Parliamentary and local council elections, we worked in support of the Scottish Conservatives in the surrounding area and further afield.  We’ve also been blessed with a great social life too, with numerous nights out and other events planned throughout the year, not to mention our pride and joy – the now legendary UACUA Annual Christmas Dinner.

If you become a member of the Association, you will receive the UACUA Programme of Social and Political Events which are organised throughout the year. These feature regular dinners and informal suppers with political speakers. Recent speakers have included Murdo Fraser MSP, Nanette Milne MSP, Alex Johnstone MSP and David McLetchie MSP to name but a few!

Across Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom, people are crying out for a decent, reasonable and sensible centre-right party. More and more people are turning towards the Conservative Party as a result. The Conservative Party have been setting the agenda on the most important challenges we face in the 21st century: whether it is on the environment, improving public services or enhancing social justice.

If you share our vision of change, optimism and hope, I urge you to join the University of Aberdeen Conservative and Unionist Association. I look forward to welcoming you in the near future.
