Cllr Mark McInnes
Mark McInnes was elected to the City of Edinburgh Council in 2003 and again in 2007. Educated at Edinburgh University, Mark graduated in 1998 with a degree in Politics and Modern History.
Mark has campaigned on many local isssues; including saving the Midmar Paddock from development, improving and supporting local businesses, parking and traffic issues, planning issues - especially houses in multiple occupancy. As an advocate of local issues and concerns, Mark continues to campaign to preserve the unique environment of his local area.
In addition to various council panels, Mark sits on the South Morningside Primary School Board, the Boroughmuir School Board and Morningside Community Council.
In his spare time Mark contimues his interest in history and is currently studying Russian.
