Cllr Jason Rust
Jason Rust, a Solicitor and Notary Public, has been the Conservative Councillor for Colinton Ward incorporating Colinton and Swanston Villages since October 2004.
Jason is the Economic Development Spokesman for the Conservative Group on the City Council, as well as a member of this Committee. He is also a member of the Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Board.
In addition, Jason is a member of the Advisory Committee on Youth Services as well as being a member of the Valuation Board of the Edinburgh Science Festival Limited.
As an active ward Councillor Jason is Convener of the newly formed Pentlands Neighborhood Partnership and attends numerous meetings including those of the Bonaly and Pentland Primary School Boards, Firrhill High School Board, Colinton Amenity Association and Fairmilehead Community Council.
Jason has a particular interest in the regeneration of the Firrhill area.
