Peter Duncan is Conservative Councillor for the Castle Douglas & Glenkens ward on Dumfries and Galloway Council. The ward includes Castle Douglas town itself along with Crossmichael, Haugh of Urr, Terregles, Lochfoot, Corsock, Kirkpatrick Durham, Springholm, Crocketford, Shawhead, New Galloway, Carsphairn and Dalry.
He is business manager for the Conservative Group which forms the administration of the Council along with the Lib Dems. He is also Chairman of the Council's Resources Committee, which scrutinizes council staff, property and other assets.
