I'm married to Sue and have a daughter Lisa. I have lived and worked in the south of Scotland for the past 20 years and am totally won over by its charms and attractions and the genuinely warm attitude of local people. But I am also well aware of the problems and difficulties we all face in this rapidly changing world. As your Conservative candidate,I want to introduce myself and explain to you how we can meet the challenges ahead and how the Conservative party and myself can represent your local views in our national Parliament .
My Background is in the hotel and catering trade, having been to School at Sedbergh in the Cumbrian hills I went on to Blackpool college of Catering before joining the then Trusthouse Forte Hotels. I believe I bring a wealth of self employed and corporate skills to the table along with the experience of Chairing the local Tourist board and Hoteliers association and being an active member on my Community Council. But above all, I bring an attitude of service and of meeting customers needs. It has always been important to me to recognise my customer needs and respond to them positively. As your Conservative candidate for Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk understanding the constituency needs and identifying what you as individual voters feel is extremely important to me. I will respond and represent your needs.
