Aileen McGlynn OBE today became the first Scot to win a medal as part of Team GB at the London Paralympics.
The 39-year-old Glaswegian claimed silver in the 1km time trial cycling.
Scottish Conservative leader and Glasgow MSP Ruth Davidson said:
“It’s fantastic to see Scots making such a positive impact as part of Team GB, just as they did in the Olympics.
“Hopefully Aileen McGlynn’s triumph will be the first of many over the coming days.”
